Use one page when the story fits
Students, recent graduates, and professionals with a focused history can often present the strongest evidence on one page. Do not shrink the font or remove useful context merely to meet an arbitrary limit.
Use two pages for relevant depth
Experienced professionals may need a second page to explain leadership scope, specialised projects, publications, or technical achievements. Every section should still earn its space.
Edit for relevance
Length is usually a relevance problem before it is a formatting problem. Remove repeated points, old tools, generic soft skills, and early roles that no longer support your next move.
Put the advice into practice.
