01

Use action, context, outcome

A useful bullet explains what you did, where or why it mattered, and the result. You do not need to force every bullet into one formula, but the reader should understand your contribution rather than only seeing a job description.

02

Choose specific verbs

Words such as built, launched, redesigned, negotiated, analysed, resolved, and coordinated create a clearer picture than helped or worked on. Vary the verbs and keep the tone direct.

03

Keep only the strongest evidence

Three to five relevant bullets are usually more persuasive than a long inventory. Prioritise work that matches the target role and remove details that do not help the hiring decision.

Put the advice into practice.
